1. Local-First Data

EchoTag is a local-first music management application. Your music files, local paths, tags, lyrics, metadata, and listening data remain on your device by default. The AI, license, and third-party features below send only the information needed when you choose to use them.

• All music files remain on your local device.
• All tags, lyrics, and metadata are stored locally.
• No user account or registration is required for core local features.

2. Website Visit Statistics

When you use this EchoTag website, it records basic anonymous page-visit and download-button events so we can understand site traffic and release interest. These reports use a random browser or visit ID, page or download event, platform, and a shortened referral source when available. They do not include music files, local paths, song data, account data, or payment details.

3. Anonymous Usage Data in the App

For a new installation, EchoTag desktop and mobile apps enable anonymous usage data by default to help us improve reliability and understand high-level product use. You can turn it off at any time in the app settings, and it is not needed for the core music features.

• A random installation ID and a per-launch session ID generated by the app, not your name, email address, or account ID.
• Your platform and app version.
• App-start events, actual successful-playback results, a first-successful-playback marker, and short fixed error categories; no song information is attached.

You can turn this setting off at any time in the app's privacy or usage-data settings; turning it off stops new reports and does not limit the core app.

4. AI Features

AI-powered features (auto-tagging, lyrics translation) send song metadata and lyrics text to our AI processing service. This service acts as a proxy to AI providers and does not permanently store your data. All processing is done in real-time and data is discarded immediately after the response is returned. No music files or personal identifiers are transmitted. These requests are separate from anonymous usage data.

5. License Activation

When activating a license, a device fingerprint (hardware hash) is generated locally to enforce the 3-device limit. This fingerprint is not linked to any personal identity.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to provide music metadata and lyrics:

• iTunes API: For searching song metadata (title, artist, album, cover art).
• MusicBrainz: Open music encyclopedia for artist and release information.
• Discogs API: For album details and genre information.
• Lrclib: For searching and downloading song lyrics.
• AI Service: For auto-tagging and lyrics translation (real-time proxy, no data storage).

3. 应用内匿名使用数据

新安装的 EchoTag 桌面端和移动端应用默认开启匿名使用数据统计，用于改进稳定性和了解整体使用情况。您可随时在应用设置中关闭；这项统计不影响核心音乐功能。

• 由应用生成的随机安装 ID 和每次启动都会变化的启动编号，不包含您的姓名、邮箱或账户 ID。
• 平台和应用版本。
• 应用启动、实际播放成功结果、首次成功播放标记和简短固定的错误类型；不附带歌曲信息。

您可随时在应用的隐私或使用数据设置中关闭；关闭后不再发送新的报告，核心功能不受影响。

4. AI 功能

AI 功能（自动打标签、歌词翻译）将歌曲元数据和歌词文本发送至我们的 AI 处理服务。该服务作为 AI 提供商的代理，不会永久存储您的数据。所有处理均为实时进行，响应返回后立即丢弃数据。不会传输音乐文件或个人身份信息。这类请求与匿名使用数据相互独立。

5. 授权激活

激活授权时，会在本地生成设备指纹（硬件哈希）以执行 3 台设备限制。该指纹不与任何个人身份关联。

6. 第三方服务

我们使用以下第三方服务提供音乐元数据和歌词：

• iTunes API：用于搜索歌曲元数据（标题、艺术家、专辑、封面）。
